Integrative Holistic Program at Kindergarten AMANAH

Abstract

The objecktive of this program is for early childhood to get holistic and integrative service and order to meet the basic need of childrencovering the need of health and nutrition education and simulation and affection of parents. In kindergarten amanah previsiously many parents who fully submit their children’s education in school alone and less so the respons to developments that occur in school while still responding in about 30%. It is not good in order to meet the basic needs of children, in general the basic need of children include (1) physical-biomedical needs, namely the fulfillment of balanced nutrional needs basic care health such a exlusive breastfeeding, breast feeding food balanced menu, immunization, periodic weigh and weighing and high measuring. Implementation at kindergarten amanah by way of partnership with puskesmas that bring help worker every three months (2) emotion or affection is a close bond and interaction between parents and children to ensure the realization of a sense of a security. Implementation by doing activities in kindergarten by involving parents such a maternal and child coloring contest or cooking contest with participants of father, mother and child next implementation of meeting program with child physiologist to monitoring child development and discussed with parent (3) provision of stimulation to children is a process of learning education and coaching gradually according of development of the child age. So that children are able to utilize of the potentional and intelligence optimally so that the child is ready to enter the next stage of development. In the case the implemention comes in the habits that have been designed by the teacher in the learning plan such as washing hands before eating , brushing teeth after eating, throwing garbage in the waste basket, helping children toilet training and guide children with affection. To design all of the above activities, a parent association was formed where some parents were selected to be their caretakers and involved in creating an integrating holistic program in school. From the result of observation made after the program is implemented almost 85% of parents respond with the development and activieties of children in school. So that the development done in school can also be done at home
